Accessibility statement

The website operator endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Anti-Discrimination Act.

Status of compliance

This website is only partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.2" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08).

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

The alternative text is missing for some images used, so this information is not accessible to screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not met. We plan to complete these missing captions on an ongoing basis.

Due to the interface connection to external partners, we cannot fully optimize various information (for example, products or map services (GoogleMaps, OpenStreet Map, Apple Map) for accessibility.

Some embedded videos are missing subtitles, so the displayed content is not available for deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not met.

According to an internal review in December 2024, the website does not comply with the provisions of WCAG 2.2 in the following points: heading structure only partly not suitable, tables partly not optimally implemented, error messages partly not optimally implemented, error messages not optimally implemented. not optimally implemented, error messages for some external embedded forms sometimes not sufficient.

b) Disproportionate load

Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform Youtube or Vimeo. It is not technically possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these older videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that remedying this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. We plan to make new videos available with subtitles for publication or with text.

c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

Some, mainly older PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, older PDF documents are not tagged, which means that they cannot be read and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met.

No comprehensive change is currently planned for older, non-accessible documents that are still exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with specific documents. We will make the content accessible on request and replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. For new documents, we endeavor to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA-compliant before publication. Publication of non-accessible documents, for example print versions, are marked as such.

No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of third-party PDF content with accessibility regulations.

Live videos are not subtitled. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.4 (live subtitles) is not met. Live videos are exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

We do not plan to subtitle live videos.
